When the Cambria Bowhunters aren't on the range, they can often be found helping their community. The group sponsors a section of highway, regularly picking up trash. They also offer an annual scholarship and enter a float in the lighted Christmas parade.

Shawnee Miles, Hayden Overman and Olivia McVay each received a $250 scholarship this year. Applications are due each year on May 1 and available at the Newcastle High School counselor’s office.
